A Name in a Vision

Ten years ago, the name Amenhotep came to me in visions. Repeatedly. I didn’t understand why, but I never forgot it.

Years later, Akhenaten, formerly Amenhotep IV, became a fascination. For six years his story has been a major thread in my spiritual work: his devotion to the Aten, his vision of unity, and, through the esoteric teachings I follow, his connection with solar consciousness and the Hieros Gamos, the sacred marriage within.

That is often how the Great Work begins, for me and for many of my clients. Long before we can explain it, something has our attention.

Coming Home to Amarna

When I went to Egypt, Amarna came into focus: the city Akhenaten built, the place he and Nefertiti called home. I extended my trip so I could experience it.

When I arrived, it was magical. I felt wrapped in the warmest hug. Tenderness. Familiarity. This incredible joy. Home.

Later, I sat in a tomb and closed my eyes. During meditation, I felt an opening at my crown. Images and impressions flooded in, something I experienced as memories. I stayed there, letting it unfold.

A vibrational key finding its lock.

That is the closest language I have for what happened in Amarna, and in so many places across Egypt.

Across the Sacred Land

I have stood with my group alone before the Sphinx and the Great Pyramid in private access, when no one else was there. No words can explain that sacred process. At the Hathor temple at Dendera, the work was a divine healing connected to the high priestess. At the Isis temple I felt huge activations. Something fascinating happened inside the Meidum Pyramid. In Luxor I fell in love with the majestic temples, and drifting in a hot-air balloon over the Valley of the Kings, I was speechless.

And there was laughter too: dancing in the desert, singing in the four-wheel drive with my clients and our Egyptian team. Sacred work is joyful work.

For years I have worked as a business advisor, helping people bring their work into the world with clarity and structure. I have learned that the most powerful work is born where the practical and the mystical meet.
